China Digital TV Announces Date for Second Dividend Installment
BEIJING, May 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: STV) ("China Digital TV" or the "Company"), the leading provider of conditional access ("CA") systems to China'sexpanding digital television market, today announced that the second payment installment for the special cash dividend declared on November 22, 2010, of US$1.00 per share, is expected to be paid on or around May 25, 2011.
On November 22, 2010, China Digital TV declared a special cash dividend of US$2.00 per share on the Company's ordinary shares, par value US$0.0005 per share. Each of the Company's American depositary shares represents one ordinary share. Shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 23, 2010, U.S. Eastern Standard Time, are eligible to receive the dividend. The dividend consists of two installments of US$1.00 per share, with the first installment of the aggregated amount of US$59.5 million having been paid in January 2011.
