2011 G'Day USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala to Honor Barry Gibb, Roy Emerson and Abbie Cornish

Barry Gibb, Abbie Cornish and Roy Emerson will be
honored in person at the 2011 G'Day USA Los Angeles
Black Tie Gala to be held at the legendary Hollywood
Palladium. Presenters include Olivia Newton John,
WHAT: Andre Agassi and Zack Snyder

Music legend Barry Gibb (Bee Gees) will be recognized
with the Excellence in Music Award. The singer,
songwriter and producer will be presented with the
award by Olivia Newton John.

Tennis player Roy Emerson (winner of 28 Grand Slam
titles) will receive the Excellence in Sports Award
from Andre Agassi

Actor Abbie Cornish (Stop-Loss, Bright Star and the
upcoming W.E.) will receive the Excellence in Film
Award from director Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead,
300) who directed Cornish in the upcoming Sucker
Punch.

Australia Week's signature event, the G'Day USA Los
Angeles Black Tie Gala, is a red carpet event that
honors high-profile individuals for significant
contributions to their respective industries, and for
excellence in promoting Australia in the United
States. A partial list of additional attendees for
