- Countdown Event

Special countdown event featuring Yoshimoto comedians and a diverse mix of celebrities.

- Red Carpet Ceremony

Numerous local and international movie stars will attend the red carpet ceremony.

- Featured Movies

Approximately 10 movies from each of the two categories of "Laugh" and "Peace" will be premiered to Japanese audiences at the festival.

- Special Screening

Japanese Comedy/World Comedy -- Collection of selected comedy films from Japan and around the world, ranging from classic movies to the next generation of hidden masterpieces.

"Respectful Screening"-- Special screening of past Japanese films known worldwide

- World Wide Laugh

"Creating movies that will make people laugh worldwide" is the concept behind World Wide Laugh, a new genre of video contest which stretches across national borders via its online format.

- CM Competition

"JIMOT CM COMPETITION" -- deciding the No.1 commercial which best personifies the concept of local "Laugh and Peace"

- Stage Event

Tropical Beach Stage will be set up on the beach front of Ginowan Seaside Park for various events.
