Yelawolf Releases Trunk Muzik 0 - 60 on Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment/DGC/Interscope Records -- on November 22nd

COLLECTION COMBINES THE BEST OF TRUNK MUZIK MIX TAPE WITH SIX NEW SONGS AS HE PREPARES DEBUT ALBUM DUE 2011

FIRST SINGLE, 'I JUST WANNA PARTY,' FEATURES GUCCI MANE

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- As he prepares his first commercial release, Alabama-born rapper Yelawolf will release his Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment/DGC/Interscope debut entitled Trunk Muzik 0 - 60 on November 22nd, 2010.

Trunk Muzik 0 - 60 is a collection of six tracks that appeared on Yelawolf's critically heralded 2010 mixtape Trunk Muzik ("Pop The Trunk," "Box Chevy," "Good To Go," "I Wish," "Love is not Enough,"and "Trunk Muzik"), plus six brand-new tracks, including the new single "I Just Wanna Party," featuring Gucci Mane.

"On 0 - 60 we're bringing new fans up to speed with some of the best songs from the mix tape while also showcasing what I've been up to since signing with Interscope," said Yelawolf. "The demand for new music has been crazy. That's why putting out Trunk Muzik 0 - 60 made sense to me; to give my fans something to hold them over until my official album next year."

Born Michael Wayne Atha to an absentee father and a bartender mother in Gadsden, Alabama, Yelawolf (the name is a reference to his Native American roots) attended more than 15 schools while soaking up slang and spiritualism in Baton Rouge, Antioch, Tennessee, and Atlanta. While trying to stay afloat in a turbulent home life addled by drug and alcohol abuse, he discovered rap music in Tennessee and it soon became an obsession, along with the classic rock he was raised on. Yelawolf's music is infused by his unique experiences as a cross-country vagabond with no place to call home.

On January 1st, 2010, Yelawolf dropped the mixtape Trunk Muzik, which FADER described as "backwoods funk, box-frame Chevrolets, high-powered hunting rifles, and crystal meth labs." Within a matter of weeks, Yelawolf was the toast of every blog, acclaimed for his story-telling and unparalleled ability to snap off double-timed staccato raps. The New York Times raved about a live performance, describing him as "fully ascendant" and "striking and assured." The Los Angeles Times declared he was "as safe a bet for stardom as anyone out right now -- the rare rapper capable of earning respect from both Kid Rock and Kid Cudi fans." Yelawolf also appeared on tracks by Bizarre ("Down This Road"), Big Boi ("You Ain't No DJ"), and Paul Wall ("Live It"). His energetic performances at SXSW, as well as collaborations with Juelz Santana and Slim Thug, earned him a deal with Interscope Records, which is releasing Trunk Muzik 0-60.

On the album, Yelawolf goes toe-to-toe with lyrical giants Bun B ("Good to Go") and Raekwon ("I Wish"), while "Pop the Trunk" epitomizes his 808-heavy trunk rattling sound, full of vivid pictures of rural redneck life and violence lurking around every bend. Jim Jonsin, lends his production and programming skills to "Billy Crystal" featuring Rock City, while Chris "Drama" Pfaff of Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory does the same on "Daddy's Lambo."

"I can go any direction - arena rap or even the bluegrass hip-hop sh*t. I would never sign myself down to any style," Yelawolf says. "I'm always gonna have the darker edgy music; it is always in my pocket because it comes so naturally to me. You'll never stop getting records like "Pop the Trunk" or "Good to Go" -- the Crunk South stuff. It will always be a part of what I do in some way. But I plan on evolving. You have to. I'm out to make long-lasting records."

The track-listing for Yelawolf's Trunk Muzik 0-60 is as follows:

"Get The F*** Up!"
