In "Freak the Freak Out," Tori (Justice) and her friends are excited to try out Karaoke Dokie, a karaoke club that features weekly singing competitions. On competition night, Jade (Gillies) and Cat (Grande) partner on a prize-worthy performance, but the club's owner rigs the competition so his daughter and her obnoxious friend win. Tori and the gang have to figure out a way to expose the cheating girls and show everyone who can really sing.
"'Freak the Freak Out' is a great showcase for the super talented girls of Victorious," said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's President, Development and Original Programming. "Not only are they gifted comedic actresses, but they really bring it to a musical performance."
Nickelodeon will continue Thanksgiving weekend with a special inside look at a day in the life of Justice in 7 Secrets: Victoria Justice. In the half-hour special, Justice gives fans the scoop on her life off the set, revealing her love of fashion, her secret to hitting the high notes and her perspectives on happiness and dreaming big. She also takes viewers along on visits to her favorite clothing and record stores.
Leading up to the premiere, Nickelodeon will also debut the world premiere of the music video for "Freak the Freak Out" featuring Justice and the Victorious cast. Set inside a downtown Los Angeles warehouse, the video features the Victorious cast in a dance-off with other clubgoers to the title track.
The premiere of Victorious "Freak the Freak Out" will be simulcast on Nick Mobile, and clips from the movie, behind-the-scenes content and the "Freak the Freak Out" music video also will be available for streaming on Nick.com and via Nick's wireless partners. The movie will also be made available for download in HD on iTunes, Amazon, Sony and Xbox. The Slap.com will also feature a Freak the Freak Out Karaoke Game where a part of the song is played and players have to guess the next line.
Additionally, "Freak the Freak Out" will be supported on Facebook through a partnership with social gaming application, Mall World. Leading up to the premiere, Mall World users will be able to visit a Victorious boutique and outfit their avatars with exclusive Victorious-themed items.
Since its launch last April, Victorious has been the number-one program in its timeslot on all TV with tweens 9-14 and teens 12-17, reaching 15.1 million tweens and 11.4 million teens each quarter.
Victorious follows teenager Tori Vega (Justice) who attends the prestigious performing arts high school, Hollywood Arts. From her first day at the school, however, Tori feels out of place among the amazingly talented students, especially mean diva Jade (Elizabeth Gillies, Broadway's 13). But with the help of her older sister Trina (Daniella Monet, A Fairly Odd Movie,Nancy Drew) and new friends including the musically-gifted Andre (Leon Thomas III, August Rush, Broadway's The Lion King, iCarly), brooding bad boy Beck (Avan Jogia, Spectacular!), eccentric Cat (Ariana Grande, Broadway's 13) and lovable but psychologically scrambled ventriloquist Robbie (Matthew Bennett) - Tori realizes that she was born to perform and that entertaining people not only makes her happy but may change her life. The series features original music performed by Victoria Justice and the ensemble cast. Victorious is created and executive produced by Dan Schneider (iCarly, Zoey 101, Drake & Josh).
