--Contract with Nexstar Broadcasting Expands Rentrak's Footprint with Three New Stations in Two New Markets--
PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, today announced a multi-market and multi-year contract with Nexstar Broadcasting (Nasdaq: NXST) to provide CBS-affiliate, WROC-TV and Fox-affiliate, WUHF-TV in Rochester, New York and NBC-affiliate, WHAG-TV in Hagerstown/Washington, D.C. with audience viewership, segmentation and purchaser metrics via Rentrak's StationView Essentials service. The agreement will allow Nexstar Broadcasting to merchandise not only the quantity of its program audiences but also the relevance and engagement of its viewers across a wide variety of specific attitudinal and behavioral profiles.
