New Shooting Range to Host FNH '3 Gun Nation' National Championship in Fall 2011

GLENGARY, W.Va., Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The Peacemaker National Training Center, a new dynamic shooting range opening in the summer of 2011 (located just west of Winchester VA), has been chosen to hold the FNH "National 3 Gun Championship" next fall. This popular event will be aired on the Versus Channel television show "3 Gun Nation." "3 Gun" is a competitive shooting match event that utilizes tactical rifle, pistol and shotgun fire at various fixed and moving targets over multiple courses and days of scoring. The championship (targeted for October 2011) will feature 300 of the nation's top shooters vying for $40,000. It will also be open to public spectators, have free "group" firearms training, open public "side matches", and have expert live fire demonstrations for the public. Some specific event planning details are still pending.

Peacemaker National Training Center President and Owner Cole McCulloch says, "The FNH Team lead by Ken Pfau and Tommy Thacker have been great to work with and their offer to provide the match staff, awards, etc. are all critical in hosting an event like this. Moreover, it's going to be a great benefit to the local economy to have shooters and spectators traveling in from all over the world."

The Peacemaker National Training Center is an official NRA affiliated public and private club and will be a common spot for regional and national shooting events.
