Premier Monster Truck Show Changes Date at Ford Field to Accommodate Detroit Rocker's Birthday Concert

AURORA, Ill., Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Feld Motorsports, Inc., announces the date change of its January Advance Auto Parts® Monster Jam® show at Ford Field to accommodate what is sure to be the biggest birthday bash in Detroit in 2011: Kid Rock's Birthday Concert.

The Monster Jam show originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 will now be held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. to allow Kid Rock to come home to celebrate his 40(th) birthday on Jan. 15, 2011 with a concert for his hometown fans.

"It means a lot to me to be able to open my Born Free tour in my hometown for my birthday, and I appreciate Feld Motorsports, and their loyal fans, accommodating the date change," Kid Rock said.

Monster Jam fans who have tickets to the original Jan. 15 Monster Jam date will find their tickets - with the same seat assignments - will be honored at the Jan. 8 Monster Jam show. Refunds are available until Dec. 19 at the original point of purchase for fans who cannot make the new show date. Ford Field has set up a special hotline to assist fans.

These fans may call 313-262-2211 or email MonsterJam2011@detroitlions.com with questions or concerns. All refund requests must be completed by Dec. 19. Tickets for the January 8 date are now on sale at www.ticketmaster.com.
