'HARRY POTTER 7' Sells Out Nearly 500 Showtimes in Advance on Fandango

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, PART 1 doesn't open until Friday, November 19, but it's already working its magic with moviegoers on Fandango, the nation's leading movie ticketing destination. As of this morning, the seventh HARRY POTTER adventure accounts for:

-- Nearly 500 showtimes sold out in advance on Fandango;
-- 61% of Fandango's daily ticket sales, single-handedly beating the ticket
sales for all current films combined;
-- Brisk ticket sales outpacing the ticket sales of each previous HARRY
POTTER adventure at the same point in those films' sales cycles.
