FindMeTV Reveals the Nation's Favourite TV Bitch

FindMeTV Reveals the Nation's Favourite TV Bitch

LONDON, Nov. 19, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- They're manipulative, scheming, quick-witted and they're the characters we all love to hate. The bitch is one of TV's greatest creations and provides some compelling plots and storylines. Who is the Cruella De Vil of TV land? FindMeTV, your authoritative TV Guide, along with OnePoll, asked the UK public to vote for their all time TV Bitch. Below is a list of how the top ten faired in our survey!

10) Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl)

Gossip Girl's queen bee spends her time planning the downfall of others, recruiting admirers and making sure she's the centre of attention. Her antics seem pretty mild however, as only a fraction of the country voted her as a bitch, making her last on the list!

9) Jenny Celerier (Apprentice 2008)

Jenny Celerier was a candidate on the fourth series of the UK edition of The Apprentice. Millions saw her reduce fellow contestant Lucinda Ledgerwood to tears. She was finally fired in week seven. Our surveyed men seem particularly aghast with this one, as do the over 55s.

8) Clare Cunningham (Hollyoaks)

This devious vixen tried to kill her other half Max, tried to seduce everyone in Hollyoaks, kidnapped Katy and was driven off a cliff to her demise- or so we think! She was last seen leaving Hollyoaks wearing a blood-red dress... Clare ranks highly amongst the surveyed 18- 24 year olds and with the Geordies!

7) Kim Tate (Emmerdale)

Kim Tate is one of the show's most iconic characters. Her storylines featured plotting against her husband Frank and twice cheating on him with Dave Glover and Steve Marchant, who later became her second husband. Kim Tate is hated particularly in the north of the country and hated most by the Northern Irish. The over 35s don't like her very much either!

6) Charley Uchea (Big Brother 2007)

Big Brother's Charley became one of the most unpopular reality TV stars ever following her foul mouthed attacks on fellow housemates. Men and dwellers in the South East of the country really don't like Charley and neither do the 25-34 year olds!

5) Sue Sylvester (Glee)

One of the newer bitches on TV...Coach Sue Sylvester has a particularly strong grudge against the Glee club- her life mission seems to be bringing it down. Sue has tried all the tricks in her book, from harassing colleagues to bribery and blackmail. The Welsh seem to predominantly hate Coach Sylvester, as do the 18- 24 year olds.

4) Wilhelmina Slater (Ugly Betty)

Creative Director and super bitch at MODE magazine, Wilhelmina Slater's life revolves around getting the top editor job. More women than men in the UK rate Wilhelmina as a bitch and she ranks highest amongst the 18- 24 year olds.

3) Tanya Turner (Footballers Wives)

Number three on the countdown to the country's most hated. Tanya did drugs, tried to kill the club chairman, swapped babies, blackmailed and illicitly taped gay sex. Tanya Turner ranks particularly high with the Welsh.

2) Anne Robinson (Weakest Link)

The older you get, the more you dislike her! Known for her assertive presenting style, the Weakest Link host offends the over 55's more than any other age group according to our survey.

1) Janine Butcher (EastEnders)

You hate her! Janine Butcher is top of the list of all time TV Bitches. Walford's number one antagonist has been involved in all the nastiness; prostitution, cocaine addiction, sleeping with and blackmailing Ian Beale, running over Ronnie Mitchell's daughter and throwing husband Barry off a cliff.
