Borders Rewards loyalty program members can shop early, beat the rush and save big with a 50-percent off in-store coupon, which can be used on thousands of items today, Nov. 24. With this coupon, Borders Rewards members can get the season's best reads at low prices, including popular hardcover titles. George W. Bush's "Decision Points" which typically retails for $35, is just $17.50 with the coupon. Likewise, customers can pick up Ina Garten's "Barefoot Contessa: How Easy is That?" for just $17.50.

Borders is providing this 50-percent-off in-store coupon to approximately 14 million consumers via newspaper inserts running in 28 markets nationwide. Anyone who receives the coupon can use it in stores beginning Black Friday through Sunday. In addition, the insert also includes a 40-percent-off-any-one-kids'-toy-or-game coupon, which can also be redeemed in-store Friday through Sunday. Further, the insert includes a coupon for a free medium latte or medium brewed coffee redeemable Friday. (Borders Rewards members will also receive the 40-percent-off-kids-toys-and-games coupon and a coffee coupon in a Thursday Rewards email.)
