TMS Digital Cinema Completes Over 250 Sony 4K Digital Systems Installations in First 180 Days Of Operations

ORLANDO, Fla., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- TMS Digital Cinema, fast becoming the world's leading independent provider of digital cinema engineering services, announced today that it completed 269 installations of state-of-the-art Sony 4K digital systems in its first 180 days of operation, satisfying unprecedented demand from leading theater chains across the country, including Regal, Hollywood, and Muvico, among others. The company has been hiring on a grand scale to fortify its resources for the work ahead in the 2010 - 2011 pipeline. Since its inception, TMS has trained 15 technicians for the highest quality roll out of digital projection systems. In the remainder of 2010, TMS plans to bring an additional 25 technicians up to this high level of training and leadership with a plan for steady growth into 2011 and beyond.

John Miceli, President of TMS Digital Cinema, commented that, "Our technical team has consistently delivered the highest standards of professionalism and have proven their ability to deliver the results our customers demand as they press forward with their DCI objectives. Our top-flight training facilities in Orlando have resulted in cultivating a great team of highly experienced technical professionals and we have the capacity to convert hundreds of screens per month from 35mm to high definition digital. We intend to make a big impact on the cinema industry's efforts to complete its transition into the digital age and have accomplished every goal that we set out for our first six months, the most important of which was to overwhelm our customers with our capabilities and exceed their expectations in every way. We couldn't be happier with the feedback we are getting from the industry. We see nothing but continued growth and expansion in this market with the addition of resources facilities and the expansion of our World Renown ServiceNET group as the premiere NOC and field service provider for our Digital Cinema customers"
