myRegence.com receives two nominations for videos that encourage members to live healthier lives

PORTLAND, Ore., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- myRegence.com, Regence's Web site for health and wellness resources, has been nominated for two Northwest Regional EMMY® Awards. Nominations were received for an individual video as well as a series of videos. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony June 5.

The video "Pink Phoenix," an inspirational story about breast cancer survivors, was nominated in the Human Interest-Feature/Segment category.

In the Health/Science-Program/Special category, a series of individual stories received a group nomination. These included "Becoming Ironman," one woman's quest to complete a triathlon; "The Intimate Truth," a look at what makes couples happy; "Flu: The Next Pandemic," an in-depth report on influenza; "When Nobody's Looking," an examination of domestic abuse; and "Free to Be Happy," an ex-felon's tale of finding free will in his own mind.
