Three of America's top gospel choirs, the Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC Choir of Forestville, MD, Bishop Hezekiah Walker & the Love Fellowship of New York City and the Ricky Dillard and New Generation Chorale of Chicago, participated in the cook-off that was created by Bounty to encourage parents to allow their children to be more hands on in the kitchen. Each group prepared their individual kid-friendly dish, allowing attendees and fellow participants to taste and vote on their favorite recipe. Bounty host, B. Smith, announced the winning recipe, Pineapple Delight submitted by Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC Choir.

"Bounty allows children to explore their creativity and learn by doing in a fun, hands-on way," said Eric Higgs, brand manager, Bounty. "Whether you are showing them the secret ingredient to a favorite family meal or teaching them the winning recipe from this year's Gospel Superfest Soul Food Cook Off, after all the fun, Bounty will be there to handle the clean up."

Guests walked away with a special recipe booklet featuring each of the dishes, courtesy of Bounty. Additional P&G brands sponsoring the event included Mr. Clean, Swiffer, Gain and Charmin.

Performances throughout the evening included Dorinda Clark Cole, Regina Belle, Richard Smallwood, The Whispers, Kiki Sheard, James Fortune, Shirley Murdock, J. J. Hairston, Jason Nelson, James Jackson & Atlanta Praise and many more.
