Next New Networks Partners With AutoStream to Produce Automotive Programming
NEW YORK, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Next New Networks today announced a partnership with leading online automotive content producer AutoStream whereby AutoStream will now produce Next New Networks' automotive programming exclusively. Under the terms of the partnership, AutoStream will take over production of "Fast Lane Daily," "FLDetours," "Garage 419" and "VOD Cars." Next New Networks will continue to distribute and market these shows, and both entities will sell advertising across the Fast Lane Daily network.
In addition, as part of the agreement, all four shows will join the Next New Creators program, which provides independent producers with access to Next New Networks' resources, including distribution and sales. Next New Creators has already seen great success in its partnerships with shows like the Gregory Brothers' "Auto-Tune the News," Grace Randolph's "Beyond the Trailer," Peter Rallis' "MovieBuzz" and Daniel Delaney's "Vendr.TV."
"Next New Networks is committed to working with great talent and we're thrilled to be working with AutoStream, the premier automotive producers on the Web," said Lance Podell, CEO of Next New Networks. "These guys are the experts in all things automotive and it only makes sense for these shows to benefit from a production team with such close ties to the automotive community."
"With up to three million views-per-series, 'Fast Lane Daily,' 'FLDetours,' 'Garage 419' and 'VOD Cars' represent an emerging trend of franchised episodic Internet television that is ideal for on-demand information distribution for today's viewer," said Adam Bruce of AutoStream. "The new auto shows will add to AutoStream's stable of original programming, including 'CLASH Production,' 'Now Back it Up,' 'Forum Wars,' 'The Smoking Tire,' 'Everyday Driver' and 'MOTORZ TV,' among others. We look forward to working with Next New Networks as part of the Next New Creators program."
"I couldn't be more pleased that Next New Networks has turned to Adam and the team at AutoStream to produce our automotive programming," said Emil Rensing, co-founder of Next New Networks. "At Next New Networks, we saw great success with Fast Lane Daily and all the automotive programming from both an advertiser and community perspective. Now, the time is right to take 'Fast Lane Daily' to the next level by partnering with the team at AutoStream."
New episodes of "Fast Lane Daily" will premiere on January 18, 2010 at www.fastlanedaily.com.
