The Emmy-award winning show will air on WHRO TV15 (HD15.1) Sundays at 11:30 a.m. beginning January 17. It will be repeated on WHRO World Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 5 p.m. "We're excited to share our work with local viewers," said co-producer Kevin Krigsvold. "We've traveled across the country to find interesting stories to tell from every corner of NASA," added co-producer Mike Bibbo.
"NASA 360" is produced by NASA's Langley Research Center in partnership with the National Institute of Aerospace. It is hosted by local TV/radio personality Jennifer Pulley, along with national TV actor Johnny Alonso. Pulley can be seen in a number of commercials, and Alonso's credits include an upcoming role on the FOX TV show "Fringe," and previous appearances on "Dawson's Creek" and "One Tree Hill."
The "NASA 360" team has just finished its fourteenth show, "Desert Rats and Analog Testing." It shows how NASA goes to extremes here on Earth to test technologies that are being designed to face even more hostile environments on the Moon and Mars.
"NASA 360" can be seen on the web on nasa.gov, YouTube, MySpace and Facebook. Viewers can also subscribe to the video podcast by going to iTunes and searching for NASA 360.
