Versatile and Multi-Faceted Actress/Comedienne Angelica Vale Joins Univision's Roster of Popular Stars
MIAMI, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Univision Network announced today that the very talented actress/comedienne Angelica Vale has joined the network's stable of popular stars. One of the most recognizable faces in the Latin entertainment world, Vale brings extensive and wide-ranging experience on television.
Under the auspices of the newly formed division of Univision Studios, created to produce and co-produce telenovelas, reality shows, dramatic series and other programming formats for the company's various platforms, Vale will be tapped to work on a variety of projects that will showcase her versatile talents as an actress and comedienne.

A multifaceted entertainer, Vale is perhaps best known for her lead role in the hit novela "La Fea Mas Bella" (The Prettiest Ugly Girl) which aired on Univision in 2006. Prior to that, she was in several other highly-rated telenovelas on Univision including "Amigas y Rivales" (Friends and Rivals, 2001-2002) and "Sonadoras" (The Dreamers, 1999-2000). More recently, she demonstrated her uncanny comedic talent as an impersonator on the popular comedy show "La Parodia" (The Parody). In addition, Vale has hosted several award shows including Univision's "Premios Juventud" Youth Awards in 2007. That same year, People en Espanol included Vale in the "50 Most Beautiful" issue and named her "Star of the Year."
