Over 100 Music Countries on the Beat in Copenhagen

COPENHAGEN, October 28/PRNewswire/ -- WOMEX, the biggest international world music trade fair, gathers more than
3500 people to listen, to discus and trade world music. Linking up to the UN
Climate Change Conference (COP 15) also to be held in Copenhagen in December
09 WOMEX provides this year access to discussions on how the music industry
can change the greenhouse gas emissions and create a low carbon creative
future.

Under the headline of 'Advocating for Change' Simon Broughton, Songlines
(UK) with Alison Tickell, Julie's Bicycle (UK) and Esben Danielsen, Roskilde
Festival (Denmark) will lead discussions on how the music industry can adapt
to climate challenges.

During 5 days more than 49 concerts will be played by 300 musicians from
40 countries. Concerts will be stages in the new unique building by the

acoustic and visual setting for concertgoers.

WOMEX is a bustling trade fair with 320 stands and over 650 exhibiting
