New City Skyline Utah's Hottest New Band Rocks The Murray Theatre September 25th

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- New City Skyline (NCS), Utah's hottest new rock group, will headline in concert at The Murray Theater in Murray on September 25th. New City Skyline is a unique group of four guys whose songs are a mixture of rock and pop and whose live performances are highly energetic with an edge toward an arena rock vibe.

The group, all raised in Northern Utah, is comprised of Paul Rampton on Vocals/Lead Guitar; Devan Brown on Bass/Background Vocals; Andrew Pemberton on Guitar/Background Vocals; and, Chance Hutchinson on Drums/Background Vocals.

NCS has been performing for a loyal following in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas with a fan base reaching as far from Florida to Costa Rica.

"We love meshing stage theatrics with our music," Paul Rampton said. "Our stage presence is pretty frenetic but our audience loves our band live. It has all come together and we have our own sound. It's not something you can really describe."

In June 2008, NCS recorded their self-titled E.P. in 16 hours, featuring all original tracks combining up-tempo rock songs including "She's Like Fire," and "Breakaway" along with softer songs like "I Am Yours." Added Rampton, Always looking to progress, NCS produced their 'Home Sessions' full length demo just five months later, featuring mainstream tracks "Life On Love," and "Enticing," a melodic rock song "Save Tonight" and ballad, "It's Over." The success of the EP led to shows in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City as well airplay on Fox Radio in Las Vegas.

"We love the writing process as well as the stage and we are constantly improving what we do," said Rampton.

The show is The Murray Theater, 4959 South State Street in Murray, Utah on Friday, September 25th. Doors open at 6:30 pm, opening the show are Mitchell Carrillo and I Scare Me Too.
