NEW YORK, July 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) and CNN announced today that Soledad O'Brien will moderate a Black in America 2 live radio roundtable on which she and notable guests from the African-American community -- including educator Steve Perry and SIRIUS XM hosts Joe Madison and Mark Thompson -- will examine different facets of the African-American experience in today's world, continuing the conversation sparked by CNN's acclaimed television series Black in America.

The Black in America 2 radio roundtable will air live July 21 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm ET on The Power, XM channel 169. It will rebroadcast on SIRIUS XM Stars, SIRIUS channel 102 and XM channel 155, on July 21 from 10:00 - 11:00 pm ET and July 22 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm ET. The broadcast will originate from SIRIUS XM's New York studios.

O'Brien and her guests will open up the phone lines and invite SIRIUS XM's diverse national audience to join the debate and dialogue, and to offer perspective from all ages, background and both genders. Topics will include education, health, and current events spanning social, political and cultural headlines and issues.

Soledad O'Brien is an anchor and special correspondent for CNN Worldwide. Since joining the network in 2003, O'Brien has reported breaking news from around the globe and has produced award-winning and record-breaking documentaries on the most important stories facing the world today. Steve Perry, Ed.D is a renowned author, educator and speaker. Joe Madison hosts a daily, call-in show on The Power, XM channel 169.
