Mike Mitchell Tapped to Direct 'ONCE UPON A TIME'

LOS ANGELES, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures has confirmed Mike Mitchell (upcoming Shrek Forever After) will direct the live-action adventure-fantasy ONCE UPON A TIME.

ONCE UPON A TIME Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty married their handsome Princes - the Charming brothers and planned to live happily ever after. But when the Charming brothers go missing, the sister-in-laws must set out to save their husbands and the fairy tale kingdom.

Darryl Taja is attached to produce under his Epidemic Pictures banner based on the screenplay by Charlie Vignola, Kevin Marcus and Bradley Marcus. Vignola is also an executive producer on the film. Cale Boyter and Pam Silverstein are overseeing the project for the Lion.

Mitchell is represented by CAA and attorney Ken Richman.
