LAFAYETTE, La., June 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MidSouth Bank, N.A. subsidiary of MidSouth Bancorp Inc. (NYSE Amex: MSL) will be back in the national business news spotlight Friday morning.
Between 6 a.m.-7 a.m. Friday, MidSouth Bank President and CEO Rusty Cloutier will appear on the popular CNBC morning business news program "Squawk Box," which brings together some of the biggest names in business and politics with the day's most important stories. A live feed will be sent to the studio at CNBC's headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J., via LPB in Baton Rouge.
The most visible voice of community bankers across the country, the MidSouth Bank president will discuss the latest issues affecting the banking industry, including President Barack Obama's call for sweeping reforms aimed at preventing a repeat of the worst economic crisis in decades.
