We all want to lead a life of our own choosing. But in today's accelerated world, with its competing priorities, information overload, and confounding options, we can easily find ourselves steered by impulse, stress, or expedience. Are our decisions the right ones? Or are we being governed, time and time again, and against our best intentions, by the demands of the moment? With 10-10-10, Welch proposes a transformative solution to deal with this pressure, as she shares her own life-tested strategy to help us regain control of our choices -- and reclaim our lives.

Suzy Welch (nee Spring) formerly Suzy Wetlaufer, is a noted commentator and business journalist. She was editor of the Harvard Business Review, and has written extensively on management and leadership.

Welch attended Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard College, and Harvard Business School, from which she graduated as a Baker Scholar, in the top five percent of her class.

She started her career as a reporter with the Miami Herald, and then the Associated Press. After business school, her professional experience included several years at Bain & Company, a management consulting firm based in Boston, where she focused on manufacturing clients. Although she has written a novel, she is probably best known as the writer and editor of numerous books and articles dealing with leadership, organizational change, and human resource management.

The Welch's currently live in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston. Suzy is involved with the Babson Executive MBA Program and often lectures on issues of women's leadership. She and her husband co-wrote the international best-seller Winning, published by Harper Collins in May 2005, and its companion volume, Winning: The Answers.

Suzy, who has four teenage children, is a columnist for O (Oprah's magazine), and co-writes a weekly column with her husband for Business Week magazine, which is syndicated to more than thirty major newspapers around the world.
