We have already had well known artists like Maria Conchita Alonso, Willie Colon, Alejandro Chaban, Diana Reyes, Alex Ubago, Albita, Arthur Hanlon, among others, expressing their approval on this innovative program," said Rene Solorio.
Rene Solorio was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico. Prior to Lamusica.com, Rene was a news host and reporter for shows on Televisa and TV Azteca in Mexico. Rene graduated with honors with a degree in Journalism from Carlos Septien Garcia School. Additionally, he was granted a scholarship by the Spanish government's Ministry of Social Affairs to study at one the most prestigious Spanish universities, Universidad Laboral de Gijon, Asturias, in 1994.
In 2007, after proposing this program to Spanish Broadcasting System, Rene Solorio relocated to Miami, Florida to be in charge of the "Lamusica.com Live" project as the Editorial Director of SBS. It was at this time that Rene developed what would become the new image and content of its Internet radio and TV sites, as well as the Lamusica.com portal.
