New Era of Worker Rights to Be Discussed on 'Inside Government'
AFGE's Fight for Employee Free Choice Act, Collective Bargaining Rights at TSA Among Highlights
WASHINGTON, May 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pending legislation to pass the Employee Free Choice Act will be discussed this week on the American Federation of Government Employees' "Inside Government" radio show. The show will air on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. EDT nationwide on Federal News Radio at www.federalnewsradio.com and 1500 AM in the Washington, D.C., area.
Steven Greenhouse, labor reporter for The New York Times and author of "The Big Squeeze: Tough Times for the American Worker," will update listeners on where the Employee Free Choice Act stands in congress. Greenhouse also will discuss the labor movement's impact on President Obama's first 100 days in office, and the challenging times facing America's middle class.
