LOS ANGELES, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian Evans, the crooner who has been performing as the opening act in the United States for such legendary talent as Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, Dionne Warwick, and Social Distortion, has announced that he has completed writing a song entitled "Amsterdam" which will be recorded in the next two months.

Andrew Biltz, who co-wrote the song, will be in The Netherlands throughout the summer to assist in the promotions of the new song.
"This song is an event. It will be a big band version recorded at Capitol Records and arranged by Nathan Tanouye," says Brian Evans. "I really believe this will be the song that becomes an anthem for The Netherlands around the world."
Evans recently retained two public relations firms in Holland to assist in promoting his style to the country.
Maussen Public Relations (www.maussen.com) and Media Tornado (www.mediatornado.nl) now represent the singer in The Netherlands. Evans intends on visiting the country, again, in June.
"Amsterdam has had a profound effect on me. It changed me as a person, and opened up my eyes to so many things," says Evans.
Evans, who appeared on popular American television programs such as "Full House" and "Beverly Hills, 90210", became a singer in 1996 in Canada. That followed performances at The Desert Inn, now home to the famous Wynn Resort.
