Red Love Film Brings Joy to the World

LOS ANGELES, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 11th, at an industry screening of its latest film, "Joy," - www.joythefilm.com - Red Love Film will announce the Spread the Joy campaign - a social movement, philanthropic in nature and similar to the Pay It Forward campaign.

As a company, Red Love Film strives to live what we say. A company that strives to be fearless and inspire, is now starting the Spread the Joy campaign, an effort to make a difference in other people's lives.

Red Love Film is offering simple suggestions and ways to help others do the same. Through the www.Joythefilm.com website, people can download postcards notifying recipients of good works they've done on their behalf, and encourage the recipient to do the same. Also online will be a cookbook with long-loved family recipes gathered from family, friends, cast and crew of the film Joy, and now Palien's Lament - the 2009 Los Angeles Grilled Cheese Invitational 1st Prize winner contributed by fellow producer Michael Bradley Combs. The proceeds from the cookbook will go to Foundation of Joy - www.foundationofjoy.org, which will also have a donation link directly in the Spread the Joy area of www.Joythefilm.com.

"Whether you gather your family together to enjoy one of the recipes from the cookbook, or you write a friend with one of the postcards telling him you've donated groceries to a shelter, or if you do decide to donate to the Foundation, you've made a big difference in someone else's life, expanded their happiness, and hopefully encouraged them to be fearless and embrace life," says Red Love producer Julie Marie Hassett who founded Red Love, and the Foundation of Joy in honor of her sister Elizabeth Joy Hassett whose life and passing inspired the film Joy.

The film Joy focuses on three women who are stuck in their lives, take life for granted, and refuse to take chances. Only after suffering loss, do they realize that happiness is obtainable. That our biggest obstacle is often fear, inaction, and ourselves. Recently completed, "Joy" is currently seeking distribution and will be screening on May 11th at Raleigh Studios to acquisition executives and film buyers.

The Foundation of Joy's mission is to encourage wellness. To help parentless children gain parents and childless parents gain children. To mentor, encourage and inspire their growth.
