Eduardo Zavala and Peter Housman to Lead ZGS Communications

WASHINGTON, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- ZGS Communications announced today that Eduardo Zavala and Peter Housman will share the Office of the President providing strategic direction and leadership for the company. Zavala will oversee all areas of digital and broadcast operations, as well as news production and Housman will direct business and corporate affairs.

ZGS Communications is reorganizing after it was announced that Ronald Gordon, co-founder and President is leaving the company later this month to become the President of Telemundo Television Station Group. Gordon will remain on the ZGS Board of Directors. It was also announced that ZGS and Telemundo strengthened their strategic alliance by, along with other initiatives, entering into a long-term agreement for ZGS to operate the Telemundo stations in San Antonio and Fresno.

Zavala was one of the original founders of ZGS Communications, and has served as Vice President of the Company for twenty-five years. He has driven the structural, operational, technical, and strategic growth of the company as ZGS developed from a small production company into an extremely successful broadcast station group which now represents the largest independent owner of Telemundo affiliate stations. "This is a great opportunity to expand the station operating model we have developed," said Zavala. "We are looking forward to bringing our successful formula to San Antonio and Fresno, and above all, to serving these communities."

Housman has served as Executive Vice President of Business and Corporate Affairs of ZGS for over five years. Housman's experience with Telemundo dates back to its inception in 1986, serving as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for 14 years. "The recent developments have even further enhanced the already strong relationship between Telemundo and ZGS," said Housman.
