'YOU MAY NOT KISS THE BRIDE' Begins Filming March 16 in Hawaii
HONOLULU, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Principal photography begins Monday, March 16th on Hawaii Film Partners' motion picture "YOU MAY NOT KISS THE BRIDE," a romantic adventure comedy set in Chicago and Tahiti and filmed in Hawaii. Rob Hedden directs from his original screenplay. Rann and Gina Watumull and David Jackson and Shauna Shapiro Jackson are producers and co-owners of Hawaii Film Partners.
Starring are Dave Annable ("Brothers and Sisters," "Julie & Julia"), Mena Suvar ("American Pie 1&2," "American Beauty"), Katharine McPhee ("American Idol" finalist and "The House Bunny"), Vinnie Jones ("X-Men 3: The Last Stand," "Snatch"), Tia Carrere ("Wayne's World," "True Lies") and Ken Davitian (Azamat Bagatov in "Borat"). Additional casting is underway in Honolulu and LA.
Director/screenwriter Rob Hedden wrote the original script for "The Condemned," and co-wrote the story and screenplay and co-produced Nickelodeon Films' "Clockstoppers." He also directed and wrote "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan."

Producers Rann and Gina Watumull are co-founders and senior executives at Hawaii Film Partners based in Honolulu. With the goal to help build a valuable and indigenous film industry in Hawaii, Hawaii Film Partners is dedicated to producing motion pictures and television productions on the Hawaiian Islands using location services and personnel.
Producers David Jackson and Shauna Shapiro Jackson are president and executive vice president, respectively, of Showcase Entertainment, a worldwide film distribution company, and are co-owners and senior executives of Hawaii Film Partners.
Hawaii Film Partners produced Discovery Kids' "Flight 29 Down," 38 two-minute animated episodes of "Ape Escape" for NickToons(TM), and an original animated television series, "Guardians of the Power Masks," done in conjunction with The People's Republic of China and South Korea. Production of the series is on-going in Hawaii Film Partners' Honolulu animation studio.
