'Oceans Apart': Friendship, Then Love, Awaken in Musicians' Hearts in New Tale by Vivien Russell

'Oceans Apart': Friendship, Then Love, Awaken in Musicians' Hearts in New Tale by Vivien Russell

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The worlds of Canadian pianist Miles Parizonasky and renowned British cellist Vienna Markham are forever changed when Miles writes a piece of music, "Waterfalls," and conceives the idea of having Vienna play the cello harmony that runs within.

Author Vivien Russell's new fiction work, "Oceans Apart" (published by iUniverse), follows the musical love story of Miles and Vienna, and how their friendship-turned-love changes others, and is nearly derailed when Vienna's twin brother Stefan, a top fighter pilot, has a tragic accident just as Miles discovers Vienna's existence. Meantime, the relationship between Trey, Miles' best friend and fellow pianist, and Monica Miller, a reporter, grows during their parallel journey of love, deceit and despair.

Vienna's love story unfolds with her flight to musical and personal freedom across the ocean. Miles and Vienna rely on hope and harmony to carry them through to a passionate conclusion and a new future for all characters. All of their lives are forever intertwined through their mutual love of music, respect of each other's talent, friendships that grow in strength and the love awakened in their hearts. Will Vienna escape her musical chains in Cardiff, Wales? Will Stefan survive? Or will they all stay "Oceans Apart"?
