Lifetime Networks Announces Domestic Launch of Roiworld.com

Fast Growing "Dress Up" Site for Women Posts Significant Traffic Numbers and Registers More Than 100,000 New Members in its First Month of Operation

ROIWORLD.COM Draws 1.3 Million Unique Visitors and 43 Million Page Views Since February 11 Bow

SAN FRANCISCO, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Lifetime Networks, the top brand in women's entertainment, has announced the launch of the U.S. version of Roiworld.com, its recently acquired "dress up" casual gaming site for women. Just over a month following its domestic bow, Roiworld.com has posted significant traffic figures, 1.3 million unique visitors and 43 million page views, and has registered more than 100,000 new members since its debut February 11. The announcement was made today by Dan Suratt, Lifetime Networks' Executive Vice President of Digital Media and Business Development, at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Focusing on the booming "dress up" category of casual games, Roiworld.com offers participants opportunities to engage in user-generated content, social networking and casual virtual world experiences. Registrants can play more than 1,000 free games while making over the looks of stars and public figures. Roiworld.com's vast library of games invites members to play the part of make-up artist, fashion designer and celebrity stylist.

"With Lifetime being the leading entertainment company for women, we knew that casual gaming and specifically 'dress up' fashion games would be an asset to our already comprehensive digital efforts. We are pleased with the positive reaction Roiworld.com has received in just over a month," said Suratt. "The U.S. launch of Roiworld.com is only the beginning with many more features to come that will enrich the site's community experience and mobile capabilities."

One of Roiworld.com's most popular features last month was "Designer Closet," which invited users to play with gowns designed by acclaimed and emerging fashion designers Carmen Marc Valvo, Ina Soltani, Tadashi Shoji and Gustavo Cadile. This week, the site will feature clothes designed by Shoshanna. In addition to the exclusive monthly "Designer Closet," Roiworld.com adds new closets every week featuring celebrities in the news.

In late 2008, Lifetime Networks announced a major expansion of its digital division by acquiring Roiworld.com, one of the leading brands in the casual gaming area and the number one "dress up" site for teens in Korea. Lifetime has used this acquisition to assemble the top talent and technology in the "dress up" game category, launching a new Roiworld.com in the U.S. and creating Lifetime Game Studios Korea. Lifetime Game Studios Korea will be headquartered in Seoul. The studio's U.S. operations, Roi Life, based in San Francisco, will focus on business development, technology and sales. The studio also has plans to develop integrated advertising packages, social networking features and micro-purchase technology for its games.
