HSN Appoints Brian Bradley Executive Vice President of HSN.com and Advanced Services
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- HSN, the interactive lifestyle network and retail destination, has named Brian Bradley as Executive Vice President of HSN.com and Advanced Services. The announcement was made by Mindy Grossman, Chief Executive Officer of HSN, to whom Mr. Bradley will report.

HSN.com, which is a top 10 most trafficked e-commerce site and ranks in the top 30 of the top 500 internet retailers, provides a differentiated e-commerce experience, leveraging content, community and commerce. Since its relaunch in 2007, HSN.com has posted eight consecutive quarters of sales growth and now accounts for 28% of HSN's sales.
In his new role, Mr. Bradley will be responsible for developing and guiding the strategic direction and operations of HSN.com and maximizing the growth of the e-commerce channel. Specifically, he will oversee all components of the web business, including merchandising, marketing, sales, content and technology, and will target strategies that enhance the customer experience and customer acquisition efforts. In addition, Mr. Bradley will manage the Company's Advanced Services unit which develops new distribution services for HSN, including Shop by Remote, broadband applications and video-on-demand.

Mr. Bradley joins HSN after four years with Circuit City where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Multi-Channel. In that capacity, he led the company's Direct business including its website, call center and catalog channels. Among his many accomplishments in that role, Mr. Bradley was responsible for significantly improving the effectiveness of the company's digital direct marketing efforts, driving web traffic and sales.
Mr. Bradley joined Circuit City in 2005 as Vice President and GM, Strategy, Business Development and Innovation. While in this role, Mr. Bradley managed 11 stores and, among other areas of responsibility, developed a new multi-channel retailing strategy that generated 30% annual web sales growth.
Previously, Mr. Bradley was Director of Strategy and Implementation for Capital One Financial Corporation from 2002 to 2005 where he developed the company's strategic agenda and identified initiatives to enhance customer relationships. Earlier, Mr. Bradley spent more than five years at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on the Consumer/Retail practice with an emphasis on Multi-Channel Retailing. Mr. Bradley began his career at IBM where he held a variety of positions from 1992 through 1997, including Worldwide operations Process Manager.
Mr. Bradley holds an M.B.A. from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
