Executive Producers of 'Brothers at War' Sponsor Exclusive Previews of Documentary Film to Honor America's Military Families

Gary Sinise and David Scantling work with the Army Air Force Exchange Service and Navy Motion Picture Service to present the film "Brothers At War" on military bases across America

AKRON, Ohio, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Military service members and their families will have a unique opportunity to see an exclusive preview of the award-winning documentary film, "Brothers at War" (www.brothersatwarmovie.com) this week on military bases across America.

"Brothers At War" is a documentary film directed by Jake Rademacher and produced by Norman Powell and Jake Rademacher that examines the lives of Rademacher's brothers, Capt. Isaac Rademacher and Cpl. Joseph Rademacher, serving in the war-torn Middle East and how their relationships with their family and loved ones change upon their return.

Seeing the film's effect on veterans and military families during initial screenings, Gary Sinise ("CSI: NY") and David Scantling, CEO of Scantling Technology Ventures (STV), made it a priority to bring the film to active duty service members, veterans and their families. The executive producers, acting on the desire of the filmmakers, worked with the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) and Navy Motion Picture Service to recognize the warfighters' service, sacrifices and achievements through multiple deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"Gary and I were very impressed with the support we received from Jon Walters of AAFES and Ron Rossman of the Navy Motion Picture Service," said Scantling. "Their teams provided tremendous support for our film and helped facilitate the exclusive previews."

Previously, Scantling and Rademacher visited Fort Hood, Texas and Fort Stewart, Ga. to screen the film for soldiers and their families. Each showing was met with standing ovations and praise for Rademacher's truthful and apolitical portrait of American troops.

"Exclusive previews are a great way for members of local communities and nearby veterans' organizations to show their appreciation for the military and their families," said Scantling.

Many organizations, including The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Guard Association, Soldiers' Angels, Operation Troop Aid and the West Point Alumni Association, have sponsored preview screenings and have pledged their support for the film.
