A car made famous by James Bond is set to create a stir with both car
enthusiasts and fans of the secret agent when it comes up for auction
shortly.

The Aston Martin DB5 which is identical to the model featured in a number
of classic Bond films including Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldonEye, Tomorrow
Never Dies and Casino Royale is being offered for sale at a guide price of
GBP150,000 to GBP200,000 by leading auctioneers Eddisons at a special on-line
auction at http://www.eddisons.com. The auction begins at 9.00am on March 12
and runs for 8 days.

The iconic car was first registered in February 1964 and has been fully
restored to concourse condition by Post Vintage Engineers Ltd during 2006 and
2007 at a cost of GBP105,000 and has done less than 700 miles since the
completion of the restoration project.

The two door, four seat car which is in the James Bond metallic silver
grey colour was one of only 1021 ever produced and includes reclining seats,
Wilton carpets, leather upholstery, electric windows and a fire extinguisher
and has until recently been privately owned.

Jason Pinder of Eddisons said: "This is a stunning example of a truly
great motor car which has been painstakingly returned to its former glory.
Apart from its association with James Bond, it is a lasting example of
timeless British car design. I am sure whoever the successful bidder is will
be the envy of many a motorist."

Any interested parties must pre register on the web site prior to the
commencement of the auction.

Meanwhile, for anybody who is really keen to live the James Bond
lifestyle Eddisons has also received instructions to sell a 6 berth, 53ft
Sunseeker Portofino 53 offshore cruiser which was originally purchased new in
2005 for GBP500,000.

Notes to Editor:

In December 1963 the recommended UK list price of the Aston Martin DB5
was GBP4248.00 including purchase tax.
