"Nothing too Much, Just out of Sight" is the hot new single from the recently-released album Electric Arguments from Paul McCartney and music producer Youth's critically-acclaimed side project The Fireman. Electric Arguments, which debuted November 25 on ATO/MPL Records, was Billboard Magazine's #1 Independent Record in its first week of release.
Founded by McCartney and Youth in 1992 under the alias of The Fireman, the identities of the band's musicians were kept unknown until they were later revealed to be the legendary singer/songwriter and Youth, who is one of the music industry's top producers and the bassist for the U.K. band Killing Joke.
"Crash" (www.starz.com/crash), from the producers of the Academy Award(R)-winning Best Motion Picture of the same title, is the provocative 13-episode drama airing on Starz, featuring an ensemble cast led by film icon Dennis Hopper. Set in Los Angeles, the series focuses on a racially diverse group of individuals from different socio-economic backgrounds as their lives intertwine and connect and their personal dramas unfold.
The characters include legendary but aging and irrelevant music producer Ben Cendars (Hopper) and his African American chauffeur Anthony Adams (Jocko Sims), a guy from the streets of South Central whose dream is to work in the music industry; honest, dedicated cop Kenny Battaglia (Ross McCall), whose infidelity with the sultry Inez (Moran Atias) has cost him his wife; Bebe Arcel (Arlene Tur), Kenny's partner, who is conflicted about her affair with lieutenant Axel Finet (Nick Tarabay), a married, cocky and hot-tempered detective in her division; Brentwood housewife Christine Emory (Clare Carey), who watches her personal West L.A. fairy tale fall apart as her marriage fails alongside her husband Peter's (D.B. Sweeney) doomed real estate development business; gang banger-turned EMT Eddie Choi (Brian Tee), who tries to leave his Koreatown gang life behind to pursue a career as a doctor; and Cesar Uman (Luis Chavez), who has made it to Los Angeles after a perilous journey from Guatemala through Mexico.
Relationships reach a climax for many of the "Crash" characters, including record producer Ben (Hopper) and his protegee Anthony (Sims), in the season finale, "The Pain Won't Stop." In one of the season's most dramatic moments, the two drop in on Ben's former business partner Julian (Seymour Cassell), who asks Ben for a shocking favor.
