Radio Broadcasters Show Their Continued Support to Automakers at North American Auto Show

HD Digital Radio Alliance to Showcase Strong Presence at Auto Show with Billboards, Brand Ambassadors and Online Promotion

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ --
WHAT: Despite the current economic environment, the HD Digital Radio
Alliance is, on behalf of the radio broadcasters, continuing
its outpour of support to the auto industry and to showcase HD
Radio during this year's North American International Auto
Show in Detroit.

Outdoor billboards
-- 12 bulletin placements through January with the "Fully-Equipped"
creative

Mobile billboards
-- Two mobile boards will drive around the COBO Hall with the "Fully
Equipped" creative
-- Taking place January 14 - 18 from 8:30am - 4:30pm each day
-- Photo parade style together in front of COBO from 2:30 - 3:00 pm each
day.

Brand ambassadors
-- 12 team members dressed in full head-to-toe bright orange jumpsuits
with HD Radio satchels
-- Handing out 15,000 VIP badges to attendees
-- Taking place January 14 -15 from 10 am - 4 pm each day

Online promotion
-- Web landing page for all VIP badge holders at www.hdradio.com/vip
-- Banner ads running on key Web sites between January 13 - 24 with the
"Fully-Equipped" creative


Inside the Auto Show
Over 25 different HD Radios are on the floor in a variety of cars
Attendees can hear and "test drive" HD Radio in the Jaguar 2010 XK
Coupe in the Jaguar Booth

Radio Advertising
The Alliance radio campaign is running in 100 markets on over 700
radio stations including stations in Detroit

WHY: Because 12 automakers are backing HD Radio and the Alliance is
helping to promote these OEMs on over 700 stations across the
country in the top 100 markets. In addition to the promotional
efforts at the Auto Show in Detroit, the Alliance is highlighting
HD Radio for consumers' 'NOW' car, with receivers available at
dealerships and retail outlets.

WHEN: The North American International Auto Show opens on Saturday,
January 17 and goes until Sunday, January 25
