'NFL PLAYERS Helmets Off: Fish & Fry' to Air Throughout the Month of February on FSN
WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- NFL PLAYERS, the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association, presents "NFL PLAYERS Helmets Off: Fish & Fry," the final episode of this season's series of specials created and produced by NFL PLAYERS. Sponsored by EA SPORTS(TM), a label of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) and Reebok, this month's special takes a look at the culinary skills and outdoor adventures of the Washington Redskins' and Cleveland Browns' offensive linemen.
In "NFL PLAYERS Helmets Off: Fish & Fry," the cameras get up close with the players of the Redskins' O-Line to find out who they are when the helmets come off and the aprons go on. When told the winning creation would earn a spot on the menu throughout the month of February at Good Stuff Eatery, the competition really heats up. Justin Geisinger, Stephon Heyer, Casey Rabach and Chad Rinehart flip and fry under the watchful eye of Spike Mendelsohn of "Top Chef" fame. Table manners go out the window as the offensive line dukes it out for line cook supremacy, and one of the original "Hogs," Joe Jacoby, stops by as a special guest judge.
Then, the crew catches up with Joe Thomas and Hank Fraley on the waters of Lake Michigan. The Cleveland Browns cast off and cast lines under the rising sun, only a few hours after an impressive Monday Night win over the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the New York Giants. With their good luck charm on board, these heavy hitters aren't coming back until the bait runs out.
