EMI and Shock Choose Play MPE(R) to Distribute Music Digitally to Radio Over the Internet in Australia
SYDNEY, Australia, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Shooting Star Picture Company's D-Star division has welcomed in 2009 with the announcement that EMI Music and Shock Entertainment Group have joined Universal Music Australia and Warner Music Australia in utilising Destiny Media's (BULLETIN BOARD: DSNY) Play MPE(R) system as the solution of choice for the distribution of promotional music to radio and other media in Australia.
The agreement gives media a single destination for almost all of their promotional music needs, allowing record companies to securely send singles, albums and other promotional assets digitally in CD quality without cumbersome DRM to close to 1000 registered Australian media users.
