Groundbreaking BoomBox(R) Broadcasting Platform to Enable Global Event for BMI

XA will broadcast the event live using its BoomBox(R) licensed technology.
The private event will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at The Xchange on 640 West 28th Street Floor 9 in New York City with performances by BMI talent Ron Browz ("Pop Champagne"), Kal and R&B wranglers 718.
Harlem-bred producer Ron Browz is known for creating hits for NAS ("Ether"), Ludacris ("Blow It Out") and Snoop Dogg ("Oh No"), but now he's stepping away from the soundboard to transition to an artist. His innovative sound has spawned the eminent single "Pop Champagne," introducing the world to his lyrical assertiveness over a pristine drum pattern, sparking a renewed interest in New York rappers.
Kal brings a unique style to R&B music -- fusing traditional African rhythms, hip-hop beats and R&B soul. His credits include producing tracks for the feature film The King's Ransom soundtrack and for recording artist Mya. He has also recorded with artists such as Biz Markie, Elephant Man, Will Smith, K Smith, Young Leek and many more.
