HBO Sports, Chick-fil-A Bowl and The Atlanta Sports Council to Host Atlanta Premiere of HBO Sports Documentary 'Breaking the Huddle: the Integration of College Football' on Tuesday, December 2, at Georgia State's Rialto Center

Producer, Joe Lavine, are scheduled to attend
What: HBO in partnership with the Chick-fil-A Bowl and the Atlanta
Sports Council will host the invitation-only screening of
BREAKING THE HUDDLE: THE INTEGRATION OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL on
Tuesday, December 2 at 7:30 pm at the Rialto Center for the Arts
at Georgia State University.
Who: Jerry LeVias, former NFL Player and the first African American
football player in the Southwest Conference, who is featured in
the film, will attend as a special guest. Film producer Joe
Lavine will also make an appearance.

Details: BREAKING THE HUDDLE: THE INTEGRATION OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL
explores the personal stories of the trailblazers who integrated
major college football in the South during the turbulence of the
Civil Rights era.
The story culminates with the Sept. 1970 game played in
Birmingham between the University of Southern California,
featuring star African-American running back Sam "Bam"
Cunningham, and the University of Alabama team of legendary
Crimson Tide head coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. "BREAKING THE
HUDDLE: THE INTEGRATION OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL" premieres
exclusively on HBO on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16TH at 10:00 p.m. -
the eve of college bowl season.
