'Flirting with Forty,' Starring Heather Locklear, Attracts Four Million Viewers During Saturday, December 6, Premiere on Lifetime Television
NEW YORK, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lifetime Original Movie "Flirting with Forty" charmed four million total viewers during its Saturday, December 6, premiere at 9PM (ET/PT), giving Lifetime Television the year's four most-watched original basic cable movies among W25-54 and W18+.
"Flirting with Forty," which starred Heather Locklear as a divorced mother who finds unexpected romance with a much younger man (Robert Buckley), joins "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" (5.8 million viewers), "Coco Chanel" (5.2 million viewers) and "The Two Mr. Kissels" (4.2 million viewers) as Lifetime's most-watched 2008 movies.
"Flirting with Forty" also averaged a 3.4 household rating, 2.6 W25-54 rating (1.4 million viewers) and a 2.0 W18-49 rating (1.1 million viewers) along with 3.1 million W18+.
The next Lifetime Original Movie will be "Prayers for Bobby," starring Sigourney Weaver, which premieres Saturday, January 24, at 9PM (ET/PT).
"Flirting with Forty" was produced by von Zerneck/Sertner Films, Peace Out Productions and Sony Pictures Television for Lifetime Television. Judith Verno ("Fatal Contact: Bird Flu in America," "The Hunt for the BTK Killer," "Into Thin Air"), Frank von Zerneck and Robert M. Sertner (Lifetime's "Racing for Time," "Fatal Desire" and "We Were the Mulvaneys") were the executive producers. Lucy Mukerjee was co-executive producer. The script was written by Julia Dahl ("The West Wing," "Party of Five").
