2008 Allstate VHSL Football Championships AAA to Air Live on Cox 11 December 6th
Two Hampton Roads Teams - Oscar Smith and Phoebus - Reach State Finals; Game is live from Lane Stadium
CHESAPEAKE, Va., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications of Hampton Roads will provide the region with the opportunity to watch the 2008 Allstate Virginia High School League (VHSL) Football Championships live. This year's championship features two local teams: Oscar Smith and Phoebus. Produced by Cox 11, the games will be seen by viewers across the state and throughout the Southeastern US through Cox Sports TV.
Coverage of the AAA Championships begins Saturday December 6 at noon with the Division 5 final featuring the Phoebus Phantoms from Hampton taking on the Dinwiddie Generals, from the Central Region. The Division 6 final will follow at 4 pm with the Tigers from Oscar Smith in Chesapeake squaring off against the Osbourn Eagles from the Northwest Region.
