Master Control Utility takes last-minute changes to the next level, giving stations the security and power to accurately edit all programming situations

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- TitanTV introduced their MediaStar Master Control Utility (MCU) solution today following successful field trials with digital stations across the country.

TitanTV's MediaStar - PSIP, Scheduling and Contract Management systems are well known for their ease of use when it comes to all programming assets, allowing stations to effectively maintain accuracy, customize reports and distribute changes to internal and external sources. MediaStar is used by nearly 600 local stations, including stations owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, NBC Universal, Gray TV, Comcorp, Freedom Group, Northwest Broadcasting, Post Newsweek, Granite and Scripps-Howard.

The new MCU interfaces with MediaStar giving stations flexible control to make urgent programming changes. With one mouse-click MediaStar modifies: PSIP, scheduling and guide data. The MediaStar MCU utility integrates seamlessly into a stations already existing workflow and logs of all up-to-the-minute station activities.
