Josh Sneed's 'Unacceptable' To Be Released By COMEDY CENTRAL Records(R) Digitally on September 30
NEW YORK, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Josh Sneed is quickly making his mark as one of the top young comics in the business. His new record "Unacceptable" will be available for download-to-own from iTunes, eMusic and other major download sites on Tuesday, September 30.
Touching on all of the hot points from NASCAR to farting on Jessica Simpson, Sneed leaves no good story untold. He's opened for Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook and Lewis Black and most recently finished 2nd out of COMEDY CENTRAL's 100 top comedians in the Annual "Stand-up Showdown." "Unacceptable" marks his debut on COMEDY CENTRAL Records and features almost an hour of his best material.
After quitting a comfy day job working for Procter & Gamble, Sneed has made excellent strides in following his passion for making people laugh. In 2004, he performed at the "Just For Laugh's Montreal Comedy Festival" in the "New Faces of Comedy" group, one of the highest honors that a comedian at his level can achieve. In November of 2006, Sneed placed 6th in the "Sierra Mist/MySpace Stand-up or Sit Down Challenge" out of over 2,000 entrants and the half-hour "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents: Josh Sneed" debuted in March 2007. Sneed has also be seen performing in large venue theaters across the country as an opening act for the various members of "The Blue Collar Comedy Tour" and has made several appearances on "The Bob & Tom Show."
Previously released recordings by COMEDY CENTRAL Records include: Mitch Hedberg's "Do You Believe in Gosh," Dane Cook's platinum-selling "Harmful If Swallowed" and double-platinum "Retaliation," Grammy Award-winning, "Lewis Black: The Carnegie Hall Performance," Grammy Award nominees' Steven Wright's "I Still Have A Pony" and George Lopez's "American's Mexican," Joe Rogan's "Shiny Happy Jihad", Christopher Titus's "5th Annual End Of The World Tour," Norm Macdonald's "Ridiculous," Demetri Martin's "These Are Jokes," "Jim Gaffigan: Beyond The Pale," Mike Birbiglia's "My Secret Public Journal Live," D.L. Hughley's "Notes From The GED Section," Mitch Hedberg's "Mitch All Together" and "Strategic Grill Locations" and Dave Attell's "Skanks For The Memories."
