Revelation Generation Renews With Resound Marketing to Promote Annual Labor Day Music Festival Through Public Relations and Social Network Marketing

PRINCETON, N.J., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Resound Marketing, an integrated marketing and PR agency focused on helping clients "make some noise(SM)," today announced that Revelation Generation, an annual Labor Day Weekend outdoor music festival in Frenchtown, NJ, has renewed with the firm to promote the fourth annual event with a public relations program combined with interactive grassroots marketing across social networks. Resound first managed Revelation Generation's publicity campaign in early 2006 for the non-profit organization's second festival, which received a vast amount of attention and coverage among the national media and local press.

Grown this year into a two-day festival, Revelation Generation is happening Friday and Saturday of Labor Day weekend (August 29-30) at Revelation Farms in Hunterdon County. The show features some of the most popular chart-topping and emerging musical artists spanning several musical genres -- from pop and rap, to rock and punk, to Contemporary Christian. Revelation Generation, which is quickly becoming known as the music "event of the summer" throughout the Delaware Valley, is expected to attract more than 18,000 attendees and will showcase nearly 20 international acts including TobyMac, newsboys, Chris Tomlin, Mandisa, As I Lay Dying and Sixpence None the Richer.

In addition to traditional media relations, Resound will continue its Social Network Marketing program, first implemented for the 2006 festival. Resound will manage the content for the Revelation Generation MySpace and facebook pages to communicate directly with festival fans and generate excitement for the event on a regular basis -- running special promotions and contests, as well as providing them with immediate access to news about the festival. The RevGen MySpace and facebook pages have helped boost festival awareness and ticket sales, and are a permanent interactive channel for concert fans, volunteers, vendors, and bands.
