"The collection has been carefully created with some of the finest laces from around the world. You will see a lot of satin and lace combined and rich colors such as burgundy and beige, silver and peach as well as your classic black and white. It makes you feel incredible and offers variety as diverse as the women who will wear it," Janet reveals.
The brand name was inspired by Janet's 1987 global hit Pleasure Principle, which was the sixth single released from the Control album. Described by the industry as an independent woman's anthem about love - Pleasure Principle seems a fitting link from Janet's musical emancipation 21 years ago where she started to write about 'changing, celebrating, hurting, healing, but always revealing my innermost soul" to her expansion into a fashion designer for modern women.
As Schiavi explains, "Janet and I wanted to create a collection that empowers women and that makes women feel sexy, flirtatious and provocative. We wanted to make sure we captured the essence of all Janet's favorite colors, laces and making sure that we stay true to who she is and what she loves."
The first collection of Pleasure Principle offers 14 designs across a combination of bra styles from balconettes, demi cups to full coverage. Sizes will range from a 32A to 44G.

Janet Jackson
In 1986, already a famous child and teen actress with 2 albums behind her, Janet Jackson released her third album Control which would shape her musical direction for the next two decades. This was a turning point in Janet's career as she made the artistic commitment to express what she was feeling and show the world who she was, rather than other peoples vision of whom she should be. The record went through the roof and Janet's videos became the industry gold standard. Three years later Rhythm Nation laid Janet's independence on the line and the global response was spectacular. She dominated the Grammys, produced a slew of #1 hits and became a fashion icon in the process.
For over 20 years Janet has maintained her global musical status with multiple award nominations, platinum albums and chart topping singles. About to embark on a world tour with her Discipline album Janet is now adding a fashion collection to her impressive business empire.

I've been looking for a decent shapewear to replace my current one. I have heard some raves about this Dr. Rey shapewear. Hmm, now I'm thinking of getting it. Hope it's really seamless that'll go well with my silk dress. :D
