SAN JOSE, California, August 25/PRNewswire/ -- The 6th edition of the Electronic Sports World Cup begins today in San
Jose, CA, as part of the NVISION event. The ESWC is an international
videogame competition that brings together more than 650 gamers from over 40
countries, invited to compete for 6 world champion titles and 200.000 US$ of
prize money. All participants earned their place during more than 8 months of
national qualifying rounds. The ESWC finals in San Jose are an event open to
the public. The most spectacular games will be played on the main stage,
broadcast on a giant screen, with commentary by electronic sport specialists.
