Mosko has been running the television company since 2001 and under his direction the studio is currently celebrating a phenomenal year. With more than 25 programs in production, SPT recently received 29 Emmy nominations, the most the studio has ever received. In June, SPT also won the privilege of working with Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions to launch her latest syndicated program with renowned heart surgeon, Dr. Mehmet Oz.

"Steve has worked wonders in building up our domestic television business, and we are proud to have him continue leading Sony Pictures Television for years to come," said Lynton. "He and the team he's built at SPT have much to be proud of, given all their success in a wide range of businesses, from new programming to long-running shows, and ad sales to digital distribution."

"It has been a real pleasure working with Steve for more than fifteen years and I'm thrilled that he'll continue leading the division and delivering successes," said Pascal. "He's a charismatic leader who's really elevated our television business in the community and a team player who works closely with the various divisions in the company. We're also grateful for everything Steve's done for the community in which we live, from hosting our annual holiday party for children in need to organizing internship programs to introduce talented young people to our business."

As president of SPT, Mosko leads the largest remaining independent television studio, a leader in production and distribution of programming for all platforms. Under his aegis are programming and production of content in all genres; traditional and digital distribution of all of SPE's film, television and short form content, current and library; and advertiser sales, which represents SPT's content across all platforms as well as outside clients such as Sony BMG, Tennis Channel and MOJO HD.

Mosko also oversees the studio's interests in FEARnet, the number one horror/thriller website and VOD service; Crackle.com, SPE's online video network; GSN, cable's game show network; and ITN Networks, Inc., a national media sales company.

Some of the programs currently in production at the studio include: "Wheel of Fortune," "Jeopardy!" "Damages," "Rescue Me," "Breaking Bad," "'Til Death," "Rules of Engagement," "Ten Items or Less," "My Boys," "Sit Down, Shut Up," " The Boondocks," "The Beast," "The Young and the Restless" and shows for "The Minisode Network."

Mosko joined SPE in 1992 as vice president of the western region for Columbia TriStar Television Distribution, the syndication and cable network production and distribution organization that was a predecessor to SPT. For that entity, he held several senior management positions, before being named president in 2000.

From 1988-1991, Mosko was vice president and station manager of Philadelphia's WPHL-TV. There, he managed the station's day-to-day operations and was involved in long-term strategic planning. Previously, he was general sales manager for that city's WTAF-TV. Additionally, for four years, Mosko served at NBC affiliate WMAR-TV in Baltimore, his hometown, first as an account executive and then as local sales manager.

Mosko was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 2005. Under his leadership, SPT was honored with the Special Recognition Award at the 2004 Sony Corporation Global Top Meeting in Tokyo, in recognition of the group's outstanding fiscal achievements, including record revenues and earnings.

Mosko is a member of the executive committee for the Los Angeles Board of Governors of Paley Museum; the National Board of Junior Achievement; and the board of directors of the Game Show Network. Mosko was formerly the Chairman of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation (ATAS) and a member of the board of directors of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. In 2000, he was chairman of the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE). While working in Philadelphia, he was president of the Philadelphia Ad Club and a member of the Philadelphia Police Department's Drug Advisory Council.

A native of Baltimore, Mosko graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. In 1995, his alma mater recognized his accomplishments with their Presidential Achievement Award and later voted him to the 2nd team midfield for the 60 years of University of Delaware Lacrosse All Star Team.

He lives in Westlake Village, Calif., with his wife, Marianne, and their three children: Matthew, 23, Bryan, 19 and Mallory, 9.
