Runcom to Present the First WiMAX-TV at WiMAX Forum

AMSTERDAM, June 17/PRNewswire/ -- Runcom Technologies Ltd, disclosed today at the WiMAX Forum
Global Congress 2008, the first Internet TV Set Top Box (STB). The new
WiMAX-TV solution integrates for the first time all the necessary components
to quickly launch a mobile Internet TV service, from advanced encoding and
streaming capabilities to middleware embedded in a HD-grade STB. WiMAX-TV
solution is fully integrated with a range of third party technologies such as
content management, content security and new-generation CDN's Peer Station.
WiMAX-TV targets service operators who need sound and economic basis for
their innovative Mobile Wireless Internet video services.

Runcom will be demonstrating at the Forum its first Mobile
WiMAX-TV STB, an embedded Internet TV receiver that supports unique streaming
methods that overcome today's obstacles and enable for the first time a
smooth TV experience with high resolution over the best-effort open Internet.
The WiMAX-TV STB is fully integrated with a WiMAX-TV MX Gateway that
simplifies surfing of complex video web sites by transforming those into a TV
optimized VoD experience.
