LOS ANGELES, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Mini Movie Channel, a multi-platform new media company formed by acclaimed Russian film and TV producer Dmitry Lesnevsky, today premiered the second in its series of original comedy shorts, "Welcome Back, Clinton." Broadcasting exclusively on http://www.minimovie.com/, "Welcome Back, Clinton" is the second short created by Famous Face Productions (FFP).

Through the use of Mini Movie Channel's proprietary technology Star Imitation Systems (SIS), "Welcome Back, Clinton" depicts Hillary and Bill Clinton's "return" to the White House with a cheeky musical performance set to the theme song of 1970s sitcom "Welcome Back, Kotter." It's campy, it's funny, it's Hillary and Bill dancing and singing with White House staff on "move in" day ... Or is it?

Also today, Mini Movie International Channel announces an agreement to acquire Das Vierte, (free-to-air TV Channel 4 in Germany) from NBC Universal for an undisclosed sum. Das Vierte was launched in September 2005 as a general entertainment service and reaches around 90% of German households.

"We are glad to have reached this agreement which will bring our international media group to the German market," Lesnevsky said. "We will develop Mini Movie as an international short film channel in different markets, but we are planning to continue to grow Das Vierte as a general entertainment channel. Our intended programming will include German films and shows, along with Hollywood movies. We also have plans to produce our own TV series, programs and shows."
